Waxing is a popular hair removal method because it provides long-lasting results. Additionally, waxing can help exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells, leaving the skin smoother and softer.


 The hair must be 3/4 of an inch or the length of a grain of rice to get waxed

 


The frequency of bikini waxes depends on your hair growth cycle and personal preference. On average, most people get a bikini wax every 4-6 weeks.


 Yes you will need to wear a tampon or diva cup. However due to being on your menstrual it you may be a little more sensitive.

 


 - For the best results for first time waxers,  do not shave or nair for about 2-3 weeks before your appointment.
- Exfoliate the night before wax.
- Take a ibuprofen about 30 minutes before your appointment. 


 Yes waxing can help reverse hyperpigmentation as it is a form of exfoliation. However reversing hyperpigmentation does take consistent treatment and should be treated with professional grade products and by a professional.

 


 We offer waxing for men for all area EXCEPT for the private area.

 


Yes. We do ask that you remove the piercing however, if you are not able to remove we will try to remove as much hair from around the piercing as possible. 


At Waxed and Waisted we primarily use hard wax, however, we do have some services that we will use soft wax if we determine that the client skin is fit for soft wax.
